Royal Atlantis Hotel

Piling Works

The Royal Atlantis Resort and Residences is a mega project that comprises a hotel and residences. It encompasses 43 storeys and will culminate at a height of 185 meters above sea-level, while the residential tower will reach 37 storeys (165 meters above sea-level).

HSSG’s scope of work on the project includes all piling works for the foundations ranging from 750mm to 1500mm diameter piles. A total of 2282 nos of piles were constructed with depths up to 45m. The project further included sheet piling works for all the six cores which were constructed with a total length of 992m.

JUMEIRAH BEACH RESIDENCE

Piling Works

Jumeirah Beach Residence (also known as JBR) is a 1.7 kilometres long, 2 square kilometres (0.77 sq mi) gross floor area waterfront community located against the Persian Gulf in Dubai Marina. It is a residential development and contains 40 towers (35 are residential and 5 are hotels). JBR can accommodate about 15,000 people, living in its apartments and hotel rooms.

HSSG’s scope of work on the project includes all piling works for the foundations ranging from 900mm to 1200mm diameter piles. A total of 2703 nos of piles were constructed with depths upto 48m. The total piling length is 100,000m.

SHEIKH ZAYED GRAND MOSQUE
ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – Piling Works

The project was launched by the late president of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who wanted to establish a structure that would unite the cultural diversity of the Islamic world with the historical and modern values of architecture and art. His final resting place is located on the grounds adjacent to the complex.

HSSG’s scope of work on the project includes all piling works for the foundations ranging from 600mm to 1500mm diameter piles. A total of 5,314 nos of piles were constructed with depths upto 27m. The total piling length is 120,000m.

CAPITAL GATE, ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

Shoring and Piling works

Capital Gate, also known as the Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi, is a skyscraper in Abu Dhabi that is over 160 meters (520 ft) tall, 35 stories high, with over 16,000 square meters (170,000 sq ft) of usable office space. Capital Gate is one of the tallest buildings in the city and was designed to incline 18° west. The building is owned and was developed by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company. The tower is the focal point of Capital Centre.

HSSG’s scope of work on the project includes the diaphragm wall shoring system and all piling works for the foundations ranging from 600mm to 1000mm diameter piles. A total of 478 nos of piles were constructed with depths upto 35m. The total piling length is 10,000m and retaining depth of the shoring is 18m.

Dr. SULAIMAN AL HABIB MEDICAL CITY, AL KHOBAR, KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA

Shoring & Piling Works

Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Hospital in AL Khobar is the first fully integrated digital health project with Digital Hospital system in the region, with the capacity of 400 beds and 290 clinics on 290.000 m2. The hospital will work on applying virtual healthcare system (Cyber Care) so as to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for multiple categories of patients depending on the remote healthcare (VCare) via advanced digital and technological systems.

HSSG’s scope of work on the project includes the secant wall shoring system and all piling works for the foundations ranging from 800mm to 1200mm diameter piles. A total of 2,037 nos of piles were constructed with depths up to 25m. The total piling length is 35,000m and retaining depth of the shoring is 10m.

QATAR INTEGRATED RAILWAY PROJECT – GOLD LINE UNDERGROUND, DOHA – QATAR

The Doha Metro in Qatar’s capital city is one of the most advanced rail transit systems in the world. It has three lines with an approximate overall length of 300 km and 37 stations. It is built over two phases: the first phase is the Red, Gold, and Green lines opened in 2019, with 37 stations. The second phase involves the introduction of an additional line (Blue) and the expansion of the existing ones, with more than 60 additional stations.

HSSG’s scope of work on the project includes all contiguous piling works for with 800mm diameter piles. Also foundation piles with diameters ranging from 600mm – 1000mm were constructed with depths upto 40m.

LUSAIL – DOHA, QATAR

Lusail Katara Hotel – Enabling & Piling Works

Symbolically intertwined with Qatar’s heritage, the iconic towers design is an architectural translation inspired by the seal of Qatar. This property is set to become the hospitality landmark in Lusail. The crossed swords of the country’s seal have been architecturally translated into twin arched towers that rise gracefully from the podium level, while the landscaped gardens and palm trees reflect in the ocean frontage.
